  compression moulding forming

Some rubber products with complex shapes, such as leather cups and sealing rings, are usually manufactured by molding. With the help of the formed female and male molds, the rubber compound is placed in the mold and heated for molding.

  Injection molding

For more complex rubber products, such as tire tread, rubber hose and metal wire surface coating, it needs to be manufactured by injection molding.

It is a method to put the rubber mixture with certain plasticity into the hopper of an extruder and make continuous molding through various dies, also called templates, under the extrusion of screws.

Before extrusion, the rubber compound must be preheated to make it soft and easy to extrude, so as to obtain rubber products with smooth surface and accurate size.

  Calendering forming

Suitable for manufacturing simple sheet and plate products. It is a method of pressing the rubber mixture into a film with a certain thickness and width by a calender, which is called calendering.

Some rubber products, such as tires, rubber belts, hoses and other textile fiber materials, must be coated with a thin layer of glue, which is also called gluing or wiping. The gluing process is generally completed on the calender.

Fiber materials need to be dried and dipped in glue before calendering, in order to reduce the water content of fiber materials, avoid evaporation and foaming of water and increase the temperature of fiber materials, so as to ensure the quality of calendering process.

Dipping is a necessary procedure before gluing, in order to improve the bonding performance between fiber materials and rubber.
